The heat has started scorching Bihar again. The hot westerly wind has troubled people. If the weather department is to be believed, there will be no relief from the heat for the next three days. In the last 24 hours, the temperature of 18 districts including Patna, Gaya, Rohtas was more than 40 degrees Celsius. According to the weather department, the temperature of many districts of the state is forecast to increase by two to four degrees in the next 48 hours. Hot and humid days are expected in the south-west, north-west, north-central, south-east and south-central areas of Bihar. A yellow alert has been issued for heatwaves in these districts.
The temperature in these areas can go up to 44 degrees.
The weather department believes that the temperature of the southwest part of Bihar will increase on Saturday. The maximum temperature of the southwest part will be between 42 to 44 degrees. While the minimum temperature is said to be between 28 to 30 degrees. At the same time, the maximum temperature of the south central and south east is expected to be 40 to 42 degrees Celsius. The weather of the south west, south central and south east parts of Bihar is forecast to remain dry.

In the last 24 hours, the temperature was recorded at 41.9 degrees in Patna, 43.2 degrees in Gaya, 40.8 degrees in Bhagalpur, 43.8 degrees in Dehri, 42.1 degrees in Sheikhupura, 40.1 degrees in Gopalganj, 40 degrees in Jamui, 43.4 degrees in Buxar, 43.1 degrees in Bhojpur, 41.5 in Vaishali, 43.6 degrees in Aurangabad, 42.2 degrees in Banka, 42.7 degrees in Nawada, 42.3 in Rajgir, 41.6 degrees in Jiradei, 43.6 degrees in Arwal, 43.2 degrees in Bikramganj and 41.7 degrees in Munger.
Hot and humid weather will continue throughout Bihar
According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rainfall was recorded at one or two places in the northern part of the state during 24 hours. The day temperature remained above or around 40 degrees in the south-western part of the state. It remained below or around 38 degrees in the rest of Bihar. Humidity remains throughout Bihar. The lowest maximum temperature of 32.8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Araria and the highest maximum temperature of 41.1 degrees Celsius was recorded in Vaishali. The northern boundary of the monsoon is still stuck at Islampur in sub-Himalayan West Bengal today. The east-west turf line which was going to West Bengal yesterday has weakened today. A cyclonic circulation is formed over Bihar at 0.9 km above sea level. Due to this, light rainfall is forecast in the northern part of the state during the next 24 to 48 hours. Hot and humid heat will persist throughout Bihar except the north-eastern part. After next 48 hours, heat wave conditions are possible in different areas of Gaya, Jehanabad, Sheikhpura, Nawada and South-West region. Be alert and safe from the heat. Avoid sunlight as much as possible and keep drinking water.
